THE MAP OF THE ECO NEIGHBOURHOOD
" Let’s begin our stroll around Rabbit Neighbourhood, past the wind turbines and down to the shared garden, before joining the neighbourhood council for a bit of good company. A quick detour to the lofts to say hello to Henriette and Fernand and then time for a treat at the food truck where we can also listen to the accordion playing in the background. Oh look, there is Marcel, his mustache fluttering in the wind while he cycles past on his cargo bike - he’s really into it …! ”
The poster illustrates the key principles of environmental architecture and day-to-day life in a green neighbourhood in amanner which is tailored to children. By looking at the arrows children can intuitively understand what is going on : rainwater fills the container and is then used to water the vegetable garden, the wind turns the turbine which then produces electricity to switch on the ceiling light, firewood is put in the wood burner to heat the house …
This pastel - shaded poster does not only have an educational value but is also a nice decorative item in a child’s bedroom .
